I always wanted to be a hippie. (Sorry, Bri, it's true.) And I never really understood why no one in my generation was carrying the hippie torch. Where were the rallies and the activists? Not just five angry people with signs. Real fucking rallies with community and power, and something resonant to say.

Today, I'm feeling the civil rights vibe pretty strong. And I'm wondering why.

Sad to say, I think people are finally stirring because it's just gotten SO DAMN BAD. And now we have no choice. It's time to fix things, THIS MINUTE, or just go home and drink the kool-aid.
